MISSION
The
goal of the Northern Ohio Planned Giving Council is to
encourage education and provide training for the gift
planning community and to establish a forum for effective
communication among members who serve the charitable,
financial and estate planning needs of donors and clients in
northern
Ohio
.
Founded
in 1990, the Northern Ohio Planned Giving Council (NOPGC) is
one of 117 regional councils representing more than 10,000
members nationally of the Partnership for Philanthropic
Planning, formerly, National Committee on Planned Giving and
local councils.
The
need for expertise in charitable gift planning has become an
important consideration for financial and estate planners
nationwide. The onset of the largest inter-generational
transfer of wealth in history combined with a changing array
of tax considerations and financial opportunities has led to
phenomenal growth and interest in the field of charitable
gift planning.
Development
officers, attorneys, accountants, trust officers, insurance
and financial advisors can all benefit from NOPGC's range of
programs, including:
Training
and education
Networking
with other professionals
National

We
invite you to join NOPGC and to become involved in the
community of gift planners, representing a range of
